Cape Flattery is the most NW point in the continental United States. The water is where the Strait of Juan de Fuca meets the Pacific ocean. Any of the time of the year is a good time to visit this easy in-and-out hike. In fact, I find it to be even more beautiful on a stormy day. This hike clocks in just under 1.5 miles of very flat and well maintained trail. The boardwalks will lead you to the the cape which has turquoise water, dramatic rock-scapes, and sea caves. You will also be able to see the Cape Flattery Lighthouse.
